  • Asian Private Equity Fund – Investment Analyst/Associate – Hong Kong

    Pinpoint Partners is working on behalf of a Private Equity firm looking to at a Senior Analyst/Junior Associate level into their team in Hong Kong. The firm is led by its partners with over 25 years of experience in private investment and it invests in opportunities in the Asia pacific region with a focus on, but not limited to, real estate. The firm has completed private investments totalling over US$700 million, which so far have produced a positive return and solid track record on each transaction. The team is looking to add a more junior person to participate in all aspects of the deal execution process.

    There are no hard language requirements, but fluency in an Asian language is a benefit.

    Key responsibilities will include:
    • Creating and preparing investment materials, including presentations, investment memorandums and investment analysis
    • Building and presenting sophisticated, industry-leading financial models
    • Assisting in negotiations, term sheets, legal discussions, due diligence and deal execution
    • Opportunity to travel
    • Conducting primary research on areas of potential investment focus
    • Creating and presenting portfolio level analysis and performance metrics
    • Participating in all aspects of the business including meetings with senior professionals and key investors, investor relations and more

    The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
    • Minimum: Bachelor degree or above in Business/Economics/Finance/Accounting or related discipline from a top-tier institution
    • Preferred: SFC licenses for Type 4, 6 and 9 regulated activities
    • Preferred: CFA designation or currently studying for CFA
    • Previous relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, accounting, consulting or other related industry
